About the instructor

Aakrit Vaish is Director, Flurry India, overseeing all of the company’s activities in the region. Flurry is the market leader in mobile application analytics and advertising, tracking over 300m devices a month and three times the volume of data as Twitter. Flurry has more data about consumer mobile app usage than any other entity in the world, and is a thought leader in the space frequently cited across industry events and publications. Aakrit is responsible for worldwide business operations of the advertising network, corporate reporting and the company’s customer center. As part of his role, he works with mobile app companies on creating and implementing monetization and user acquisition strategies using the Flurry network. Aakrit was among the first 20 employees at Flurry, and was based out of the San Francisco headquarters before moving to Mumbai in 2011 to start and run India operations. Aside from Flurry, he actively advises and invests in early stage technology companies in the areas of digital advertising, analytics, gamification, and of course mobile. Prior to Flurry, Aakrit worked as a Strategy Consultant for Deloitte Consulting, serving clients in the public sector. Aakrit has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign
